or simply following my usual online routine.

Whether it’s editing facts for companies among sites, such as Fandango and IMDb or researching just what people are saying about upcoming films or television episodes, my engagement within the online community puts me face to face with consumers. As face to face as you can get through the internet, anyway.

Although I may still have one more year left of college, after that long-awaited graduation day, thanks to New Media Strategies I am fully prepared to step into today’s social media explosion. After all, my interaction within all of those different online communities and networks has opened my eyes to just how people today are communicating. So while we may be running all over DC this summer, this particular Intern has learned

This was the BEST party EVER!" Can't beat that! Great job, Jules

I always thought that the obsession with a spiritual 'methodology', was just a shallow twentieth century systems approach to Catholicism.

I loved the kettle caramel flavor, so did my boyfriend. The popcorn is crunchy since it is covered with caramel. It sounds wierd but it is worth the try!Check these guys out for really good, and unique, flavors. The cheese course duo is one of my favorites, but I've liked everything I've tried. Too bad they're in Scottsdale. Time for a trip back.

Sweet post David, you make a tremendous point about loving the job you do. It's amazing how much better you work and how much more creative your thinking gets when you're really engaged. Hope to read more great blogs like this!

I sat there wide-eyed with my jaw on the ground not being able to tear myself away to try and get ready for work. I couldn't even fathom what was happening or why. All I knew was that a plane flew into the tower. I didn't know details.

This is just mean-spirited and petty. Here's a guy who has given most of his professional life to public service in Durham County and done more than creditable service through some pretty important issues. He gets in trouble for giving commission members legal advice they don't want to hear on a hot zoning case and they dump him - only months before his planned retirement. Shame! is all I can say.I also believe true "equal opportunity" in practice requires an open hiring and employment process. I think both Patrick Baker and Lowell Siler are wonderful people. However, as someone who would potentially compete for these jobs, it is disheartening to have these positions be filled as a result of backroom negotiations rather than open processes.
